TBoI hosts three large conferences each year. Bee School takes place in February, Purdue Field Day in June, and the Fall Conference in October. We also have a honey booth and a wax booth at the Indiana State Fair, and we promote other large beekeeping events on this page.

There is also an exciting opportunity for grants to attend. The One Hive Foundation will make travel grants to support appointed legislative liaisons and beekeeping educators affiliated with nonprofit beekeeping organizations/association/clubs to attend the “Science Policy and Advocacy Training for Beekeepers” workshop offered by Judy Wu-Smart, PhD.
Fall Conference
The fall conference for 2025 will be in Embassy Suites in Indianapolis on October 17th. As always, we will have great speakers and a chance to get together and talk bees. More detailed information will be posted as it becomes available. Ideas for topics or anyone interested in volunteering should contact ethanmitchell010@gmail.com.

Board Meetings
Our board meets quarterly, and anyone is welcome. Come get involved, share your ideas and passion, and learn how the decisions get made. Meetings take place on the third floor of the Indianapolis Airport in the Administrative Offices Conference Room. Enter from the parking garage and take the elevator up.
