Governance Documents

By Laws

The TBoI By Laws define the governing and operational rules of the organization under which the Board of Directors must operate on behalf of the members. They include operating requirements, such as when and how often the board meets, when the annual membership meeting is held, the term of office for board members, committee details, and other governance matters.

Amendments to the TBoI By Laws require a vote by the TBoI Board and a vote by the membership.

The current By Laws are available here.

Policies & Procedures

The Policies & Procedures were developed by the Board to define the standard procedures for TBoI operations, and to set limits and safeguards on TBoI activities. In other words, a roadmap for its operations. The Policies & Procedures ensure compliance with laws and regulations and give guidance for responsible decision making. If you have any questions, contact Treasurer Robert Duffy (tboi.treasurer@aol.com).

The current Policy and Procedures are posted here.
