TBoI Education Committee Mission Statement
The primary purpose of the TBoI Education Committee is to educate Indiana residents about the honeybee, local honey, the beekeeper, and provide educational resources for those interested in becoming beekeepers. | Chuck and Sandy Dailey |
Need a TBoI Speaker?
Are you looking for someone to speak to your group about bees and beekeeping? We can help you with that!
From young to old, “newbies” to knowledgeable, there is a fascination with bees and beekeeping. Our educational presentation is interactive and includes a variety of hands-on and other educational information.
TBoI has a “hive” of speakers who have presented to classes at schools from kindergarten through high school. We’ve also been hosted by garden clubs, library groups, and other organizations that have an interest in learning more about beekeeping. Our speakers are experienced beekeepers and can accommodate any size group.
If you have specific needs or dates, be sure to include that in your request. Click here to access the Services Request Form.
Note for requesters: Although there isn’t a set fee for the requested services, some speakers may ask for a donation to cover their gas. This is settled upon between the speaker and presenter.
