Events

TBoI hosts three large conferences each year. Bee School takes place in February, Purdue Field Day in June, and the Fall Conference in October. We also have a honey booth and a wax booth at the Indiana State Fair, and we promote other relevant beekeeping events on this page.

Bee School

Lock in and learn everything you can about bees at our annual bee school! Our 2026 Bee School will be on February 28th at 502 East Event Center in Carmel, IN.

At Field Day, beekeepers learn from experts in beekeeping and bee research and get hands-on experience in real hives.

Board Meetings

Our board meets quarterly, and anyone is welcome. Come get involved, share your ideas and passion, and learn how the decisions get made. Q1, Q2, and Q3 meetings take place on the third floor of the Indianapolis Airport in the Administrative Offices Conference Room. Enter from the parking garage and once you reach the ticketing area, turn right to find the elevator near the prayer room. Take the elevator up to the administrative offices.

Our Q4 meeting takes place at our fall conference on October 17.
