Education Committee Mission Statement: Educate the people of Indiana about the honey bee, local honey, the beekeeper, and we will provide educational resources for those interested in becoming beekeepers.

Get the Buzz on Honey Bees

This educational program is aligned with national standards in science and geography. Developed by Scholastic and generously sponsored by DreamWorks Animation and the National Honey Board, these materials teach your students critical life-science skills from the fascinating world of bees.

Below are a few of the experienced presenters. From young to old, knowledgeable to "newbies", there is a fascination with bees and beekeeping. We've presented to classes at schools as young as kindergarten up through sophomores in high school. We've been hosts to garden clubs, library groups and open houses with a wide variety of ages. The presentation is interactive and includes hands on as well as educational information. We are experienced with small groups to groups well over 500.
